Brentwood

Brentwood is a lovely suburb of Nashville and boasts a population of over 40,000 residents. First settled by Native Americans, Brentwood didn’t start to grow quickly until the time of the 1930’s. At this time homes were being purchased and restored after the war and fox hunting and horses were becoming popular.

In 1969 Brentwood was finally incorporated as a city and this was also the year that the interstate had been built in the city which propelled much of the area’s commercial and residential growth. A short time after the Maryland Farms office complex was created there at the site of a former horse farm and race track. Today Brentwood has emerged as an affluent community being located in Williamson County which has been regarded as being among some of the wealthiest counties in the United States according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
