Lebanon

Lebanon sits in Wilson County, Tennessee with an approximate population of almost 40,000 just outside of downtown Nashville. Home to many cedar trees, it has been commonly regarded as “Cedar City.” Perhaps one of the most noteworthy landmarks is Cumberland University located here which is a private liberal arts institution. Transportation to and from Lebanon is also made easy with routes 40, 70 and 109. Commuter rail service also began for the area in 2006 making trips to and from Nashville easy for those who have regular weekly commutes. These local residents enjoy the suburban feel that the area offers along with a school system that is often highly regarded.
