Nashville

Nashville is the capital of Tennessee and is also the most populous city in the state with over 660,000 residents that is located in Davidson County. Sitting along the Cumberland River, Nashville is best known for being a center for industries including music, healthcare, publishing, transportation as well as banking. It also is the home to many colleges and universities including Vanderbilt University, Tennessee State and Fisk University just to name a few.

Nashville’s downtown area is extremely vibrant and active from entertainment and dining to architectural highlights. Common areas of interest include the Broadway and 2nd Avenue areas as well as the central business district. Many multi-story towers have been erected over the years beginning in 1957 with the Life & Casualty Tower. Today, as the local economy booms, more have been built or are under construction. In fact, in 2017 the Nashville economy was noted as being one of the quickest growing in the country and Freddie Mac Realtors named it the “hottest housing market in the US.”
