Spring Hill
While preserving its small town charm, Spring Hill has quickly developed both residentially and commercially to accommodate the increasing demands of its residents. The 2020 population amount was at 50,000 which is a 72.22% increase since 2010 as a noteworthy fact of growth.
Many of the original settlers of Spring Hill were from families with many social ties to the eastern U.S. making schools and churches considered as a priority among the settlers. In 1816, William Williford started a co-ed school while James Peters, a Methodist preacher, erected a log church in 1819 where people would travel from miles away to just attend the services.
